For a Thai flavor profile, we season this fried rice with fish sauce and sugar, and we recommend offering lime wedges on the side to brighten the flavors with a hit of acidity. You can use cooked shrimp from the grocery-store seafood counter, or cook your own by dropping peeled and deveined raw shrimp into a saucepan of boiling water, then allowing them to stand off heat until just opaque throughout (timing depends on the size of the shrimp).

Tasty and quick!
This recipe is great if you got leftover rice and some veggies - I sautéed and added onions, red and yellow peppers and grated ginger - it was delish. If you don’t have shrimps just add another egg.

For the egg you should add shallot /1 chopped up large shrimp or 2 small saison ,salt pepper put altogether add to a hot pan or wok brown bottom then turn brown then take out of pan add at end to rice. This is good for most Fried Rice

I would wait to add salt until finished and then salt to taste. The flavor with the fish sauce to good. It tasted salty to me but still good!
