Spanish-Style Tuna Salad
This mayonnaise-free tuna salad was inspired by the colorful mixed vegetable and tuna salads served in Spain. For the richest flavor and silkiest texture, use good-quality tuna packed in olive oil. Our favorite widely available brands are Wild Planet and Genova. Serve the tuna over greens, with some or all of the optional garnishes.

It seems kind of funny that the person who wrote up this recipe capitalized the word ‘OR’ every time it appears under ‘optional garnish’. Clearly they seem to have thought that it was going to be better with only one garnish. I typically eat this fine salad on a bed of butter lettuce with all of the above garnishes. It’s still great.

Spanish-Style Tuna
Loved the flavors. I used sundried tomatoes, since I did not have fresh ones. Although I did add capers and some pickled asparagus, it could have used a bit more tangy taste.
