Both chicken tikka masala and butter chicken are relatively modern inventions, rising to popularity in the second half of the 20th century. Inspired by their warmly spiced, creamy-rich flavors, this low-effort dish cooks pasta directly in a buttery, tomato-based sauce, thickening the mixture and infusing the noodles with bold flavor.

Good and easy. - use the alts!
I’ve made this a few times now. Highly recommend using both garlic and ginger. Also, definitely garnish with cilantro and rather than just serving with lime wedges, squeeze half a lime into the dish and stir to incorporate before serving.

Simple and Tasty
My family enjoyed this one-pot dish. I used 1 1/2 pounds of chicken since that's what I had on hand, and it seemed like a good amount. Definitely garnish with cilantro -- makes a wonderful contrast to the other flavors.
