This is an oven-baked version of garides saganaki, a classic Greek dish that combines sweet shrimp with tangy tomatoes and briny feta cheese. The tomato mixture spends about 45 minutes in the oven to soften the vegetables and concentrate their flavors before the shrimp—which are done in a flash—are stirred in. Serve directly from the baking dish, with plenty of warm, crusty bread to sop up all of the juices.

New Family Favorite!
This is our new family favorite and immediately went into “The Book”! My 8 y/o son asks for this at least once a week and discovered his love for anything with fennel!

Simple and tasty
Delicious! Easy to make for a party by cooking the vegetables ahead and then just adding shrimp when you’re ready . I used dried oregano and parsley which was fine. Will make again!

Simple and delicious
This is such a simple recipe, yet it has far more flavor than I even imagined. The oregano is more than enough for the whole dish. Don't forget the crusty bread or roll! This will be a repeat recipe for us.
